As changemakers, we must be attentive to our inner lives. Healing on the inside generates healing beyond.
Nourishing the Resistance
Online Retreat (concluded) Interested in future online and in-person (SE Michigan) retreats? Sign up here for the mailing list! -- DATE: Saturday, March 29, 2025 TIME: 9:00am - Noon (Eastern Time) PLACE: Zoom (link will be emailed to you once you register) COST: Free Gathering in community to nourish ourselves as change-makers is a radical act of resistance, especially in this time of heightened political repression. We will engage in contemplative practices (mindfulness meditation with options for movement meditation, journaling, active listening, etc.) to fuel our change efforts. We’ll reflect privately and have the opportunity to share about what we need to receive and what we have to offer to promote justice. Contemplative practice equips us to be intentional, skillful, and sustainable in our individual and collective actions. As we spend time in self- and collective care, we are co-creating healing alternatives to oppressive systems. Join us! (No meditation experience necessary.) |
Me and White Supremacy
Learning Community (concluded) This class has concluded, but we will continue to meet to study racial justice texts, reflect, and share in community to support our ongoing learning. Would you like to join (free)? Complete this form! -- Join us to explore how white supremacy culture lives in us and how we can challenge it. This is critical healing work, especially in these times. Our goals in this learning community are to (1) do the inner work of investigating white supremacy culture, and (2) engage in self and collective care to sustain us for the journey!
